The Child Center serves families from the SWAG neighborhoods and beyond, and puts a special emphasis on making sure that low-income families can access high quality services for little or no expense to the families. The CHILD Center provides high quality early learning for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, as well as important family support and engagement opportunities. The CHILD Center also serves as a model demonstration center where teachers, researchers, and policymakers will come to study and learn best practices in early childhood care and education, professional preparation, and innovative models for translating research findings to practice.
